• The vehicle was a comfortable ride. The left passenger mirror was not working though... So it was a hazard for me when turning. My issue was with the renter. His communications were slow to non-existent. He claimed he was overseas. I opted for pick up and delivery service. However he claimed he did not see my option on the app. I wasted almost an hour waiting for the car to arrive which did not. I had to ask DriveLah hotline for help and only then did the renter contact me. Good thing I was not too late in picking up my parents for reunion dinner. Same thing for return. He was absent and took a long time to acknowledge the return of the vehicle. Again I had to contact the hotline to ensure that I was not responsible for the vehicle as I have already 'returned' the vehicle to the drop off location. Apparently I am not the first one facing such an issue with the renter. So future users renting this vehicle please be aware. It can be quite frustrating.

• The host was no show....no message given no call received...MIA totally....not even an apology....had to source out other car rental at the last min as had plans for the day with family ...pls a reminder pls cancel the booking be it if you have last min problems or emergency to deal with...have some thought for the guest who is looking forward to renting your car to run the errands that they have planned.

• Overall satisfying experience, not too different from my previous drive in this car around 1.5 years ago ! Time flies indeed ! Only noticeable difference are some faint tyre rumbling noise starting to develop so some tyre rotation/rebalancing might help ? Otherwise still a good car to drive !

• Srikanth is a honest host as he showed all the dents and scratches of his car. He took extra effort to show how to collapse the back 2 seats as it isnt the usual way to do it. Very smooth handing over and when returning the car. Will recommend his car for rentals. Thanks Srikanth!

• Very nice guy and accommodating m, he doesn’t use the in app to unlock/lock the car or use the Slick app, he will pass you the keys personally and will brief you to ensure you are familiar with the car. Unfortunately, my experience today was met with with faulty IU detection and I have to manually tap at the gantry and delayed communication prior to pick up that resulted in pick up that was delay a little. for consideration, a grace period before and after the actual pick up time will be useful like what some other car sharing is providing. nonetheless, host is helpful.

• Superb host who delivered the car earlier than the pick up time. Host was detailed in explaining the usage of the car. His Peugeot 5008 is a gem. It is in pristine condition, clean and comfortable car. The car was relatively a smooth ride, however one must take note that the front of the car is larger than most cars. Newer drivers must practice caution if they have never driven large cars before. Otherwise, my kids LOVED the sunroof. Will be renting again when the need arises! Car: 10/10 Host: 10/10

• Overall a pleasant car to drive, impressions unchanged from my previous drive experience. Although the Peugeot 5008 seems to use the same engine as the Peugeot 508, i seem to find the 5008 quieter & with better features like the panoramic moonroof good for viewing scenery directly above one's head which is not possible with normal car's closed roof. Of course disadvantage is the heat coming thru so that i close it during sunny day. Performance to weight also not seem as favourable as the smaller & lighter 508 which is to be expected. Engine not as advanced as BMW or Mercedes-Benz diesels but due to the good sound insulation on the Peugeots overall they are still quiet enough to be regarded as quiet quite refined diesel cars to drive !

• Host was a no show. Multiple attempts have been made to contact the host but no answer. I've called operator and operator has tried to called many times but also did get. Hence requested for booking to be cancelled and refunded. I have wasted an hour plus waiting time. I've specifically booked this 7 seater car as i need to bring out a family for an important meeting. Instead of having the convenience of driving, i have to book a two grab cars to and fro since i couldn't get a similar car as i need it urgently and furthermore it was christmas eve, so there was a limited car choice. Host contacted back and gave reason that his phone was off and he was out jogging which i could not accept as time as been fixed and we had acknowledge on the collection the night before. Really am disappointed with the experience. Sorry but can't accept it. It's really has given lots of inconvenience for me.

• Kind understanding & helpful host, patient listener with keen ear to feedback. Overall a well maintained great car in good condition. In fact within the 1st 30 mins of driving this car, i was impressed by the level of 'quiet refinement'..the ability of Peugeot to 'offer so much from something so little'..this impresses me as a very Germanic French car i.e. very stable quiet comfortable road composure which makes for stress-free expressway drives even at higher speeds with hardly much engine noise or vibrations, despite fact that the diesel engine used is not the most advanced or quiet (in itself) which makes it all the more impressive how they achieved the quiet 'vibration-free' interior & drive experiences ! Downside mainly is the limited output from the reasonably efficient 1.6 litre charged-cooled 2v per cyl inline-4 diesel engine but this car exhibits a 'big premium car feel' with the overall very impressively low NVH levels so still is a very pleasant car to drive so long as it's driven very gently on the accelerator to avoid the higher revs which then brings out the rough noisier nature of the older-gen 2v diesel engine. Idling is quiet with almost no vibrations..almost like a petrol car while cruising even around 90 km/h you can hardly tell the difference between whether this is a diesel or petrol or electric car !! So to close off my review, overall this is a great choice of car for a pleasant relaxing drive, you almost get the qualities as if like in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class but of course WITHOUT the performance factor but that's ok if one is not in a hurry & just want a good quality class of slow drive in a premium Continental car which the Peugeot 5008 certainly is.
