The car was running great with no technical issues. The minor issues worth mentioning are, 1. I had to pay $48 to get out of MSCP Blk 644A. When returning the car I still saw the gate reader stated hourly parking instead of seasonal parking. 2. The engine light was on all the time during pick up but disappeared the next dayy

Never had a chance to communicate with the host only with DriveLah agent. A very strong smell of cigarette when the car was picked up and the interior was not cleaned. There was white dried up cleaner stains everywhere in the interior. The scheduled maintenance was overdue and front tires were worn out. Had a problem to start the trip as the apps stated odometer mismatch reading. The systems could not lock the car after the trip has been ended. Other than that the car was running without any issues. The car was returned with 6/8 fuel level. It was 3/8 when picked up. Highly recommend for DriveLah to enforce full fuel tank before each rental. Easier for renter to return with full fuel.

Car couldn't lock for the whole trip. We were in JB and someone have to be near the car since it couldn't be lock. Drive lah customer service is not trained for such situation, did not provide solutions and rendering nonsensical suggestions such as locksmith. Cleanliness of the car is poor, I have send the car to car wash to clean the exterior and interior. The good thing about the trip is the aircon is good during the hot weather.

its a great car to drive and smooth ride , just that it doesnt come with a physical key to lock and unlock the car and the inapp locking and unlocking doesnt even work while ur in JB but works while ur in SG , i had to guard the car 24/7 while in JB it ruins all of my plans and hope that the host would be able to provide a physical key soon . until then i wont recommend this car to drive jn JB cause you will have to stay near the car to ensure its safety to not get stolen or broken into . would definitely rent again if they have a Key made . but until then its not for me for now .

Worse car renting ..no remote key only via phone apps for lock and unlock and we has wasted our time thru our journeys by looking after the car as we travelled in johore for so much of safety reasons as we could not get network for the car. I think we deserve a refund for this. Please look into this matter. Very unpleasant experience. Even we called from Malaysia ask drivela to lock they couldn't do so. Yesterday, I rent out the car to return it today on 29/10/23. I'm facing a problem that is unsafe. Cause owners never ensure with the previous users. Key was not in the car. So I went out with my family to malaysia and problem can't be solve because the car can't be lock. And owner and other users. I have already maintain clean and send for a car wash is all the hygiene matters. Please owner take note of who are using previously before you want to rent out your car. Really feels unsafe. To make it safe me and ny family have to take turn looking good care of it. This are the problem when dribing use keyless customer tend to forget to pass to the owner or leave the key at the car. Please do ensure next time. But the most I like the car is very smooth and safe to drive. Thats all I want to share for those will be the next who going to rent out SMT2270M.

Have rented with this host on multiple occasions, and the car has always been in very good condition. Good and responsive host. However, in the last two trips, the car keys were not in the car, and we had to depend on the keyless function, which is not reliable, especially in Malaysia. Our plan during our JB trip was compromised as we couldn't lock the car, and we had to cancel a lot of plans just to guard the car due to the locking issue. For anyone wanting to rent, kindly check with the owner first regarding the key situation. Hope the key situation will be resolved as we have always enjoyed renting from this host.

Upon picking up the car, it was not at the allocated lot. Secondly there is no physical key found in the car and Ahmed is also unaware till I informed him. Thirdly, there is LOCKING AND UNLOCKING issues where I could not LOCK using the apps or even via bluetooth. Contacted Drivelah Customer Service and the host, Ahmed, both could not solve the problem. I booked the car for 1 whole day till the next morning, but it ruined my plan as someone has to be in the car and become the security guard since the car cannot be locked using the apps. I returned the car earlier than my supposed timing as I do not wish to sleep in the car. They keep asking me to drive around till they can get the signal to lock the car at their end but for more than 12 hours it is still not resolved! Till now I am awaiting for the customer service as well as the resolutions dept to refund me for all the frustating encounters that I had. The host and the customer service even took an hour to reply to my messages even via whatsapp and they claimed that drivelah is under maintenance that they are unaware of. Pls make sure when you rent this car the physical key is there, it was parked at the allocated lot and there are NO ISSUES with the LOCKING AND UNLOCKING of the car otherwise it will be wasted to rent this car since you are needed to be the security guard to safe guard the car because of the LOCKING AND UNLOCKING ISSUES. Not recommended at all!

Ahmed is very responsive and accomodating. I had a last minute errand and he gave a 15 mins grace to return car. I had a pleasant conversation with him. The car was slightly dirty upon receiving and he apologised and will look into the matter. The car was alright apart from some camera issue which he said will rectify it. Though it is only 1.2cc, the car had good pickup amd could maintain like 90+ reasonably fast and easily. Large enough space. Good air con.loved the blue colour. Car was kept clean and fully loaded with fuel to hit Malaysia immigration wothout much time lost. The car has Malaysia VEP enrolled, so just carry ypur t&g card. Though immigration never checks I carried the insurance, vep confirmation slip. Good host. Responsive and accommodating host, smooth ride and car was maintained very well. Only downside was the ending of trip on the app - had to chat with an agent and try several rounds of locking, unlocking, taking pictures, and trying to upload and yet still could not end trip both on app and website. Thus, it will still reflect as trip is ongoing despite the agent ending it for me.
