During the pre-pick up photo taking part of the app you will need to take photos of the odometer and fuel gauge which must be done INSIDE the car. This needs to be done BEFORE you can start your trip which also means to unlock the car. This is not possible if the car is locked and customer service is very slow (took them overnight to get to me on my drop off enquiry). Luckily the previous user did not lock the car so that saved me lots of time waiting on customer service. For drop off, your trip will hang at "Pick up requested" status throughout which means you are unable to take the drop off photos and end trip through the app. Do manually take photos not through the app and send them to customer service chat. On the plus side, car was very smooth though AC is cold only at 21 deg. Has valid season parking and key fob. Hope these info help the next user.

Poor host. In the app, upon collecting car hv to do the necessary i.e photos etc. after that host hv to click pick up request n didn’t do that till i send the car back i was not able to do the step where i hv to return the car. In the app it’s stated clearing hv to return the car back at the same designated lot. However, upon sending the car back that lot was used my GetGo car. Tried contacting the host n drive lah rep not able to get them. In the end hv to drive back the car to m house carpark. Upon arriving I called again, drive lah rep answered n told me I can park the car anywhere at the parking lot n just hv to take pics n send it to them on drive lah chat app. Wah Lao… 😖. Pls amend your app n state clearly on your app, it’s really troubling the person renting the car to go back and forth.

I’m so sorry that I’ve gotta rate you this low as I wasn’t expecting myself to have to went through all the trouble to unlock and lock the car. Best of all, this car rental isn’t to a specific owner but the organisation of DriveLah themselves. As such, all queries or complaints, I’ll have to contact their hotline for assistance.

Host is very responsive to queries and provided clear instructions for pick up and drop off. Extremely well maintained car for longer distances in JB. Really smooth to drive. Faced some issues to lock the car in the more remote/kampung parts of JB but no issues using the app in town areas.

Good host. however the car keys were not inside the car. Plus when we were in JB the lock function on the app was not working therefore we were not able to lock the doors throughout our day trip in Malaysia. We hope that this can be rectified and we can get compensated for the inconvenience.

Car was perfect. I have some issues with drivelah itself. In order to end the trip, I need a picture of the odometer but after doing so, I cannot lock the car since the trip already ended so I have to contact support. Also, when picking the car up and exiting the carpark where the car was for pick up, I had to pay $17 for the carpark fees.

Great host, car was fun and easy to drive. There are many hiccups along the way. Locking & Unlocking was a problem. Had to keep texting the host & support team to keep locking & unlocking the vehicle. Thankfully they are patient and helpful although spending a long time waiting for the car to lock or unlock. The support team had finally restart and troubleshoot the problem and towards the end of the trip it was better, able to lock and unlock the car without hassle.
